LJO Sew saved my business!
Thank goodness I found LJO Sew. Less than a year into starting my clothing line, both of the manufacturers I was depending on went out of business. I had no idea if I would be able to find another affordable manufacturer in the USA. I made some expensive mistakes trying to work with companies in New York City, and pattern-making ended up being almost as expensive as a full line of clothing! I started searching on Maker's Row, and Laury caught my attention because he responded to my questions right away, with emails AND phone calls! I was so impressed by his personable and timely approach that I decided to give LJO Sew a try-- and I'm so glad I did! Laury helped me every step of the way-- connecting me with fabric suppliers and pattern makers, overseeing the entire process of sample and marker making, facilitating the cut & sew, and organizing shipment... always making sure that I was completely satisfied. He was always in contact, keeping me up-to-date with the process and filling me in whenever I had any questions. (Sometimes I worry I don't know enough about this industry I'm in, but Laury always makes me feel comfortable when I need clarification about terminology or standard procedures!) I just received 2,000 pieces of beautiful garments, and I now have an even better product than I did before to share with my customers, thanks to Laury and his impeccable work ethic. I'm so excited to work with him again, and I'm sure it will be soon, because this new clothing is going to sell fast! Thank you Laury for making this experience a successful and enjoyable one!

Producing in the USA is possible!!!
We began our journey working overseas because we didn't believe we could afford to work in the USA. When that turned into a nightmare and we had our entire inventory "stolen" leaving us with nothing we came to Laury! We have been working with him for the last year and have transitioned from working overseas to entirely working in the USA! He took what little we had left and recreated our entire line at an affordable price. We have had a great experience and Laury has been very helpful in teaching us his ways! We were very new in the business and he has improved our line to a better product! He is very easy to reach and communicates with us daily. The headaches are gone from trying to communicate overseas, waiting months for our product to come, and the fact that we lost everything with no available legal action. PRODUCE IN THE US! Laury makes it possible!

Laury Ostrow was extremely helpful and personable when I called him for an impromptu meeting. I am working on starting a private label and needed someone who had years of experience in the industry. I was treated with respect and encouragement. Laury provided his insights and advice on the direction I am taking as well as options that could get me there. LJO Sew: as good as it gets! . . .
LJO Sew is truly fantastic. I had been working on an idea for a business suit onesie and connected with Laury. No idea seemed too crazy for him, and he was able to share a lifetime's worth of information on working in the garment industry. He helped me along the way to make a working prototype of my idea. It needed to be done with a strict deadline (my wedding) and he made it happen. Not only that, the prototype went on to get international press exposure. I have Laury to thank for this. His deep knowledge of the garment industry, connections, and open-minded attitude made him a true pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him!

Actively Working With Laury . . .
I've been working with Laury off and on for the last ~9 months. We had a hiccup where he had delays with his manufacturer so my first set of production samples took quite a while. But after that, things have picked up and his turnaround has been great. I'm a beginner to the industry so I'm always learning from Laury. He's helpful in giving me his network and providing recommendations for different suppliers.

On Time and On Budget . . .
As a business owner, it is my honest opinion that Laury Ostrow and his team provided services that far exceeded my original expectations. I have been producing men’s underwear off shore for many years, but came up with the concept to offer a line of incontinence underwear from boy’s size 6-8 all the way up to men’s 48”-50”. Having no prior knowledge in actually developing a new product and then domestic manufacturing, I found Laury on Markers Row. Laury, with his team of pattern-makers, fabric vendors, and contracting facilities, created what I had envisioned. I was not expecting inside information into the garment world, but Laury taught me so much! Having already scheduled a photo-shoot, Laury made sure I had some prototypes available within 2 weeks. The entire process moved forward from there as patterns were made and samples were presented to me. Most importantly, I controlled the pre-production time as I wanted to understand all my options with the different suppliers. In the end, Laury assembled a USA manufactured garment with USA produced fabric that understood my requirements to the littlest detail. The entire process that would have been next to impossible to have done on my own became reality on August 12, 2014. I had no experience in producing clothing...
As a photographer I had images that I wanted reproduced on a line of leggings and dresses. But had not idea how to go about doing this. I feel so fortunate and grateful that I found Laury. He helped me every step of the way with getting my first production of Wild Beautiful Clothing made. I just got off the phone with Laury and what an amazing experience. It took me longer to muster up the nerve to call than it took him to return my call. Just to let you know it took him only 5 minutes to call me back, wow. I honestly thought after leaving my message it would be another dead end to my many efforts. Everyone who knows me knows that it's hard for me to convey my ideas and therefore that is why I appreciate how patient he was with me. He really LISTENED!! He gave me advice and answers in 10 minutes that I've waited almost 10 years to hear; How do I get started? Additionally, before we hung up he said," If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to call!" Wow, on top of that the advice was FREE!!!! Thanks again, Laury.

Laury is the best!
I just wanted to share my experience in talking to Laury. I am a textile screen printer with over 18 years in the tee shirt world and Laury gave me things to consider that even I hadn't thought of; ideas that will help my project reach new heights. He truly is a font of information and his willingness to help people is a rare trait these days. I highly recommend Laury if you are going to attempt any sort of private label apparel and accessory manufacturing.

He spent a lot of time on the phone with me and sent along a wealth of helpful information. I was looking for someone to walk through some of the practical "basics" of how to get started and plan. Mr. Ostrow contacted me within an hour of filling out his online questionnaire. As a complete "newbie" to the clothing manufacturing process, Mr. Ostrow was able to give me the break-down of process, estimate costs, and give me my marching orders as to the next steps I needed to take. He is definitely a one-stop-shop to give someone who is just getting started a leg-up in the clothing industry game. I highly recommend you make him your FIRST CALL.

My contractor of a decade suddenly closed down shop. He had done everything for me. I found Laury and he assisted me in getting my production up and going again. He had to redevelop my patterns, then grade everything and give me production under a deadline. He came through. And with the quality of sewing my customers demand.
